Change of the method calculation of the Ratio Voting Rights of Foreign Shareholders

Nippon Television Holdings, Inc., in accordance with a notification from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications dated September 25, 2017, has changed the method of calculation of the ratio of the number of voting rights held by foreign judicial persons, etc. as of December 31, 2017. Among the shares held by a foreign judicial person, etc. if such person, etc. refuses to register the transfer of shares, such shares have been excluded from the basis for the calculation of the total number of voting rights of shareholders. Please note that, by this change, the rights for voting and dividends may be partially reduced for shares held by foreign judicial persons, etc. listed in the previous shareholder registry.
