Nippon Television Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) has been selected for inclusion in the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, an index that measures the performance of Japanese companies demonstrating strong ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices. 

 Designed by FTSE Russell, which is a part of the London Stock Exchange Group, this ESG index is composed of Japanese companies from various industries deemed to be relatively proactive in their initiatives against climate change and other issues. The Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan, the world’s largest pension fund, newly adopted the FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index as one of the ESG indices it tracks.

 In 2021, Nippon Television Holdings, Inc. established a Sustainability Policy that identifies six material issues, driven by its goal of devising a multitude of activities with creativity and acting boldly and aggressively towards a sustainable future. Up until today, all the companies in the group have joined forces to contribute to society through numerous undertakings such as the charity program “24-Hour Television” and “Good for the Planet” campaign, both held annually.
