Sustainable
Investments

The Nippon TV Group has identified four strategic investment areas in its Medium-Term Management Plan 2022-2024, namely Media Content Business, Life and Health Related Business, New Businesses, and Sustainable Investment, which includes proactive investments in businesses that contribute to society. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility through sustainable investment activities in companies that are in-line with the Nippon TV Group's Sustainability Policy.

Sound Fun Corporation

Sound Fun Corporation

Sound Fun Corporation develops, manufactures, and sells Mirai Speaker® (future speaker), which converts television and other audio into audible sound using technology that clearly and distinctly expresses words. Our mission is to help people lead brighter and more positive lives by supporting their hearing.
Hearing problems hinder communication and are said to be a cause of dementia and inactivity. They impair emergency communication during disasters and hamper the ability to recognize audio information on TV. Sound Fun will contribute to solving these social issues by helping as many people as possible overcome their hearing challenges, with the aim of making the accessibility of sound a reality.

EhonNavi Corporation

EhonNavi Corporation

EhonNavi Corporation has three missions: 1) to increase the number of happy hours; 2) to create and operate services and media that serve as infrastructure for daily life and child-rearing; and 3) to take on the challenge of expanding the market for picture books and children's books. Our information portal EhonNavi is one of the largest picture book specialty websites in Japan, with approximately 20 million users annually. It features proprietary rankings, reviews, and a digital picture book viewing function.
Nippon TV and EhonNavi will continue to contribute to education by collaborating with in-house announcers to develop picture books and children's books, as well as producing content and character intellectual property spin-offs.

Agricultural Corporation iCas Co., Ltd.

Agricultural Corporation iCas Co., Ltd.

iCas Co., Ltd. does not use any pesticides or chemical fertilizers, but mainly grows vegetables using green manure and plant-based compost. This method has a low environmental impact because it replicates the natural ecological cycle, in addition to increasing the soil's carbon capture and storage effect.
We are contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through agriculture also by processing and selling dried vegetables made from out-of-specification or bruised produce, in an effort to reduce food loss. Additionally, we promote work integration social enterprises (WISE) and have joined forces with Shinwa Gakuen, a local social welfare facility, to give persons with disabilities an opportunity to play an active role in tomato juice processing.
